THE CURSED ASSEMBLY WILL PUBLISH ZINES AND - IF POSSIBLE - BOOKS - THAT PROPOSE DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO THE FIELDS OF FEMINISM, MAGIC, HISTORY AND SCIENCE.
EVEN THOUGH THE ASSEMBLY TAKES ITS INSPIRATION FROM SECRET SOCIETIES, WE DO NOT INDULGE IN ELITISM.
JUST LIKE IN THE “GHENT MANIFESTO”, WE WILL TRY TO MAKE ALL OUR WORK PROCESSES PUBLIC : REHEARSALS, DEBATES, ETC.

We are driven and turned on by the unintelligibility of things - both
textually and sensorially.
We believe in the death of the author, but we critically acknowledge
the existence of an author-function within a liberal market society.
The Cursed Assembly plays with the plasticity of authorship aiming
towards a sabotage of capitalist organisation of discourse.
Our research and discourse can and will be in debt with linearity.
We act with notions of discursive fossils, aggregates, fabrics,
viruses, plasticine, combustion, freezing, leak, melting,
solidification and porosities in mind.
Interdisciplinarity is one of the keys for our critical approach to
perception and meaning-making.
We don’t believe our work will ever be enough ! just as we don‘t
believe there is an ending point in explanation & interpretation
itself.
The Cursed Assembly searches for all of reality’s marginalized
semantics. Our sources leak out into Pseudoscience, unpublished,
censored material, contemporary phenomena, unfinished works. Just as
we critically acknowledge the author-function, we do see the canon and
the wounds it has created.
We don‘t have physical headquarters: the assembly is ambulant and permeable.
Accidentality and intention strengthen each other mutually!
Sometimes we forget… and sometimes we project… just like everyone
else. Those happenings will birth new dialectic embryos
